In the state of California, ferrets are illegal to import, transport and possess without proper permitting by the CA Department of Fish and Wildlife. At this time, permits are not available to the general public for pet ownership. Due to these restrictions, West Coast Ferrets does not hold adoptions for the ferrets we rescue.
